Today, we're setting off for Bow Lake. In winter, the huge riverbed is just like a vast white desert. Next, we'll go to Peyto Lake. The beautiful glacial lake looks even more magnificent with those towering snow-capped mountains around it. Then, we'll drive along to Louise Lake via the Goatfinger Glacier. It's called that because it looks like a goat's claw. In the afternoon, we'll drive along the Bow Valley Parkway all the way to Johnston Canyon. On the way, it feels like we're in a Nordic forest, with all that snow weighing down the branches. It's so beautiful! Come with us for a hike in the ice canyon (free to borrow studded ice grippers) and enjoy the perfect lines drawn by the high waterfalls.
