Near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Paradise is located in the Qujiang Resort, southeast of the Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. The site covers a total area of 1000 mu (about 165 acres) and of which 300 mu (about 49 acres) is water. This attraction not only claims to be the biggest cultural theme park in the northwest region of China but also the first royal-garden-like park to give a full display of the Tang Dynasty 's (618-907) culture. 30km (18.6 miles) east of Xi'an and beside the Terracotta Army, Huaqing Pool features the Imperial Pools of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907), Pear Garden, Frost Flying Hall, Nine-Dragon Lake, Five-Room Building and Mount Li. Yongxing Square
Yongxing Square Shaanxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Food and Culture Block, is located in Zhongshan Gate, Dongxin Street, Xincheng District, Xi'an City, near Shuncheng Lane in the east. It is one of the 108 Square in the Tang Dynasty and the former residence of Wei Zheng. As the first block with intangible cultural heritage food as the theme in China, it was voted as the "top ten food streets" by national netizens, and also the gathering area of intangible cultural heritage food.
Xi'an Drum Tower
The Drum Tower is located northwest of the Bell Tower of Xi'an, across the Bell and Drum Tower Square.Both of them are called the 'sister buildings' or 'morning bell and dark drum'. In ancient China, especially from the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), the drums were used to signal the running of time and on occasion were used as an alarm in emergency situations.It was initially built in 1380 during the reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was renovated twice in 1699 and 1740 in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It is a two-storied post and panel structure, 34 meters (about 112 feet) high and 52.6 meters (about 172 feet) long from east to west as well as 38 meters (about 124 feet) wide from north to south. The architecture style of the Drum Tower is a combination of the styles of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and the Qing Dynasty. However, it also has some innovative features.For example, it should be mentioned that there is no iron nail used anywhere in the Tower.
Muslim Quarter
Just as its name implies, the Muslim Quarter, also known as Huimin Jie in Pingyin, is the hub of the Muslim community in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located to the north of the West Street in the city center, the quarter covers several blocks inhabitated by over 20,000 Muslims. There are about ten mosques in the area of the Muslim Street, among which the Great Mosque in the Huajue Lane is the most famous and popular. Muslim food and souvenir market is another feature of the area. The Beiyuanmen Muslim Market located just to the north of the Drum Tower is a great choice after the sightseeing in the city center.About 500 meters (about 547 yards) in length from south to north, the street can be reached through the archway under the Drum Tower.This street is paved with dark colored stone with green trees providing heavy shade during summer; the buildings on both sides of the street are modeled on the styles of both the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasties (1644-1911). Some of the constructions are restaurants; while others are stores.But here there is one thing in common: the owners are all Muslims.

The Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, lies in the city center of Beijing, and was once the Chinese imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is the largest, best-preserved ancient timber-built palace complex in the world.
Constructed between 1406 and 1420 during the reign of Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors and their families and acted as the ceremonial and political center of ancient Chinese government throughout 500 years. After the Last Emperor of China left the palace, it later became a museum open to the public in 1925. Since then, the Forbidden City is no longer "forbidden", and now ordinary people are able to take a virtual trip in time to see the secrets and luxury of imperial life.
Rectangular in shape, the Forbidden City is enormous, covering an area of 72 hectares, and boasting more than 9,000 bays of rooms.It is divided into two parts - the Outer Court for national affairs in the south and the Inner Court as living quarters in the north. It is not only an immense architectural masterpiece, but also a treasury housing a unique collection of 1.8 million pieces of art, including ancient calligraphy and painting, imperial artifacts, ancient books and archives. Shichahai Historical and Cultural Scenic Spot
Shichahai is a famous scenic area in the northwest part of Beijing, which includes three lakes (Qianhai, meaning Front Sea; Houhai, meaning Back Sea, and Xihai, meaning West Sea), surrounding places of historic interest and scenic beauty, and remnants of old-style local residences, Hutong and Courtyard.
Its history can be traced to as far back as the Jin Dynasty (1115 - 1234).During the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368), Shichahai was the terminal point of the Great Canal, which was a main reason for its prosperity. In the period of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), when the channels ceased to be as smooth as they used to be, it changed from a bustling hub to a place of leisure where people could stroll around to admire the vast scenery or enjoy the cool shade under willow trees.

Temple of Heaven
Formerly known as "Temple of Heaven and Earth", is located in the east side of Yongdingmen Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. For the Ming and Qing dynasty emperors to worship heaven, pray for grain and rain places. It is the largest existing ancient sacrificial building complex in China.
The Temple of Heaven was built in the 18th year of Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1420), and in the ninth year of Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty (1530). The Temple of Heaven is protected by two walls and divided into two altar, inside and outside. Its main ancient buildings are concentrated in the inner altar, which has an east-west partition wall in the middle of the inner altar into the south and north two parts, with the door connected in the partition wall. The inner altar is composed of three groups of ancient buildings, namely Circular Mound, altar of Prayer for Good Harvest and Zhai Palace. The Altar of Prayer for Prayer is located in the north of the Inner Temple, the Circular Mound altar is located in the south of the Inner altar, and the Zhai Palace is located in the west of the Inner altar. There is a 360 meters long, 28 meters wide and 2.5 meters high connecting the Circular Mound Altar and the Altar of Prayer for Good Harvest. The inner altar is surrounded by East Gate, North Gate, West Gate, Guangli Gate, Zhaohang Gate and Taiyuan Gate. The Temple of Heaven has a high historical value, scientific value and unique artistic value, and it has a profound cultural connotation.
Summer Palace
Situated in the Haidian District northwest of Beijing, Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the downtown area. Being the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, it greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as 'The Museum of Royal Gardens'.
