The excursion starts early in the morning towards the town of Cacheuta, bordering the Mendoza River, with majestic views of the Cordón del Plata mountain range and the Potrerillos Dam. Then continue to Uspallata, a pre-Hispanic settlement of Huarpe aborigines. Continuing towards the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas and Los Penitentes complex, which is currently disabled as a ski resort. Further on you will find the Puente del Inca, a natural architectural work with hot springs. Continuing your course and at 2750 meters above sea level, you will arrive at the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the colossus of America of 6959 meters. Finally, you will visit the town of Las Cuevas (border with Chile). At noon, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In this place you will be at 2750 meters above sea level. Aconcagua Viewpoint, (6959 meters) place with the best view of the mountain and entrance to the Aconcagua Provincial Park. Las Cuevas, last Argentinean village, already to enter the tunnel that joins Argentina with Chile.
