The city of Beaver, Utah is a small town that is known for supplying the best rural water and for being the first town in Utah to be electrified. The town was originally a Mormon settlement in 1856, and by the 1870s, the town was establishing more with mills and dairy industries. Beaver, Utah is also the birthplace of inventor Philo T. Farnsworth and notorious western outlaw Butch Cassidy.
